The long-term memory
your Tesla doesn't have.

Battery degradation tracked from the day you link your account. Every charge session, every drive, plus a handful of vehicle signals you choose to follow — kept and charted, so you know what's normal for your Tesla.

The Tesla app is now.
RiviMate is over time.

Lock, climate, navigate — that's the Tesla app's job. Battery health since you signed up, every charge curve you've pulled since, every drive you've taken since — that's ours.

The history your Tesla
never holds onto.

Battery health, drives, and charging stay automatically. Beyond that, pick a few extra vehicle signals to follow long-term — your Tesla streams plenty, and you choose what's worth remembering.

Charts

Pick a few of 20+ vehicle metrics — battery, pack diagnostics, lifetime energy, climate, motion, tires — and chart them over time. Pin up to 3 to your dashboard.

Pack Diagnostics

HV isolation resistance, brick voltage min/max, module temperature spread, pack voltage and current — pick the ones you want and chart them through Charts. The kind of data a battery engineer would want.

Charging Sessions

Every session logged with the full power curve, kWh delivered, peak power, and duration. Auto-matched to your saved chargers; cost computed against time-of-use rates if you've configured them.

Drives

Each drive plotted with the full route on a map, distance, energy used, average and peak speed, and weather at start and end. Auto-detected from gear and motion signals.

Lookout Alerts

Road Trips

Group drives and charging sessions into trips so you can see the full picture: total distance, energy used, and the full route on a single map. Shareable as a public link.

Tesla-specific Questions

Does this control my Tesla?
No. RiviMate is read-only. We never send commands — never honk, lock, unlock, climate-on, anything. The integration is built strictly on Tesla's telemetry stream, which only sends data from your car to us, not the other way around. Tesla's OAuth scopes we request reflect that.
What's the virtual-key pairing about?
Tesla requires it for any third-party telemetry app since their Fleet API rollout. From the Tesla app on your phone, you open tesla.com/_ak/rivimate.com, tap "Approve," and we're added as a virtual key. That gives Tesla's backend permission to stream data to our endpoint. Takes about thirty seconds, one-time per vehicle.
Does my Tesla stream all the time?
No, and you don't want it to. Tesla cars sleep when parked to preserve range. We receive data whenever the car is awake — driving, charging, or actively in use. Sleep is normal; data picks back up the moment your car wakes. RiviMate's connection-health logic specifically doesn't fault on sleep, so you won't see "connection issue" banners just because your car is parked overnight.
What models are supported?
Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck — every current Tesla that supports Fleet Telemetry. The capacity baseline used for battery-health calculations adapts to your specific trim (Model 3 RWD = LFP, Long Range = nickel-based, etc.) using the trim signal Tesla streams.
What about my Tesla's photo? It looks like a placeholder.
Tesla's Fleet API doesn't expose vehicle photos to third parties. Rather than show a generic stock image, we use a clean model-letter avatar — a "3", "Y", "S", "X", or "CT" inside an outlined circle. Scales perfectly at any size and avoids licensing complications.
Can I use RiviMate alongside the Tesla app?
Yes. RiviMate is additive. The Tesla app stays your control surface — locking, climate, navigation. RiviMate is the long-term tracking layer: history, charts, alerts, public share links. You'll keep using both.
What's tracked automatically vs. what's optional?
Automatic: battery health (capacity over time), every charging session with its full power curve, and every drive with route and efficiency. Opt-in via Charts: 20+ live signals — SOC, range, brick voltage min/max, module temperatures, HV isolation, pack voltage/current, lifetime energy, tire pressures, cabin/outside temperature, speed, odometer, and more. Pick the ones you care about; the rest stream live but don't accumulate history.
What happens to my data if I unlink or cancel?
All data scoped to a Tesla account is deleted when that account is unlinked. Cancelling your subscription doesn't delete data immediately — it stays accessible during your remaining billing period. Deleting your RiviMate account hard-deletes everything.
Is my data private?
Yes. Vehicle data is stored securely and is never shared with or sold to third parties. Tesla OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. You can export all your data as CSV at any time, and you can delete your account from the Settings page anytime.
